Traeger Wood Pellets

Wood pellets are formed from sawdust that is dried, pulverized and extruded through a rotating die under enormous pressure. The natural lignin in the wood binds the pellets into their shape. There are millions of pounds of pellets produced each year. These clean-burning wood pellets generate about 8500 BTU’s per pound with very little ash. Traeger selects only the finest hardwoods from across the country to go into our pellets.
